The Party Policy to dam the Murray at Wellington which will turn both Lake Alexandrina and Albert hyper-saline is not acceptable to me.
It is not in their written manifesto which I studied, was a secret from me and was only announced at the same event at which I was endorsed.
It is a great policy for the Eastern States as they also intend to dam virtually every important water course in the Murray Darling System and hold the water up that end for growing rice and other things. I was not informed of this policy prior to being endorsed and I have been un-successful in modifying it in any way.
I also differ on race issues. I am well informed and moderate regarding Aboriginal issues. I have many friends who happen to be Adnyamathanha. I differ in material and important respects to the private views of some board members on issues of race relations in Australia.
I also differ on South Australian unemployment and infrastructure development issues. In particular I wanted an ALA candidate in Wakefield to be endorsed to tackle the 32.4% unemployment in the Elizabeth areas. I was unsuccessful in getting support for this.
In other words I feel that this parties policies are dominated by issues that are more important to other States than South Australia.
I was not getting sufficient or appropriate support from the organisation. See the ALA post on 8th May, two days ago. when every other Senate candidate had their pictures as part of the post - except me.
I completely support the Parties major policies with respect to opposing the Islamification of Australia,
I have been dis-endorsed by the Board of the ALA as candidate.
This was not by mutual agreement. I was informed of the unilateral decision of the board to sack me by telephone this morning.
It appears that they had two other preferred candidate options before I was informed of this.
I have just resigned from the party.
I am considering other political options.
