The racist publicly funded Referendum Council did not “break the impasse” as reported in the Australian Newspaper page 22, 22nd July 2017
Instead they elucidated a radical switch from moderation to extremist proto-aboriginal nationalism.
When Noel Pearson published his 2014 essay promoting a Constitutionally entrenched aboriginal advisory body he sounded the death knell for the Recognition “R” campaign. Prime Minister Gillard had already passed a Commonwealth Parliamentary Law recognising Aborigines as the first people and “R” was gaining momentum among moderates and appeared likely to succeed.
It is constitutionally violent to propose that Australia should promote racial suffrage as Pearson and the publicly funded Uluru statement do.
It is time for an Australian leader to give it a simple no.
There is to be no Australian Constitution Amendment or Constitutional body that entrenches by Race greater power in one group than another.
